About Invest Karnataka Forum
The Invest Karnataka Forum (IKF), functioning under the Department of Commerce & Industries, serves as the state’s agency for Investment Promotion. Its primary responsibility is to facilitate investment by engaging with various stakeholders, including potential investors. The IKF aims to showcase the state’s industrial ecosystem and attract Foreign Direct Investment (FDI) by emphasizing its investor-friendly policies and robust infrastructure.
The forum is focused on proactive investment promotion activities tailored to enhance the state’s appeal for both domestic and international investors. This includes establishing dedicated cells for market intelligence and institutional engagement, streamlining processes through a single-window clearance system, and enhancing the IT infrastructure for better investor experience. IKF engages with multiple state departments, central agencies like Invest India and DPIIT, and external bodies such as trade associations and embassies. This multifaceted engagement strategy includes one-on-one discussions, round table conferences, and trade shows to effectively promote Karnataka as an attractive investment destination.
