Bidar

Known as the pulse bowl of Karnataka, Bidar is situated right atop the state geography and is perhaps one of the few districts to witness a phenomenal growth curve in investments since 2011. 60% of its cultivation is dedicated to sugarcane, jawar, bajra, pulses, ginger, sunflower and soybean. Bidar is the next hot spot for agro and food processing with its immense agricultural potential. Bidar’s contribution amounts to 3% of the state’s agricultural sector.
